About Us
The Third Eye Association (The Akdeniz Üçüncü Göz Eğitim ve Gençlik Derneği), founded in 2009 in Mersin, works to protect coastal and marine life by actively involving young people and volunteers from the European Solidarity Corps. Accredited for EVS/CES programs, the association organizes training sessions, Erasmus+ exchanges, and volunteer assignments that enable participants to develop skills, gain intercultural experiences, and make a tangible contribution to the environment. Since 2011, it has coordinated more than 60 projects and hosted over 900 volunteers, primarily focused on combating climate change and protecting marine ecosystems.

The association also carries out numerous awareness-raising initiatives through workshops, campaigns, and school visits, addressing biodiversity, climate change, and sustainable practices. Its work focuses in particular on the protection of sea turtles and the preservation of coastal ecosystems. Thanks to the dedication of its volunteers and its local and international partnerships, it helps foster responsible young citizens and promotes a culture of sustainable development and volunteerism.
